Terms & CONDITIONS for transportation services: 

By booking on our website, and making a reservation you confirm that you have read these Terms and Conditions and that you have the legal capacity to accept them on your own behalf the other passengers on board., and you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions as well as other information contained on the website.

Service and business hours

We are operating 24/7 hours, No black out dates.

Reservations and contact details 

While making your reservations; the pick-up location, Service date and estimated time should be clearly mentioned in your booking, Name of the main passenger, active contact number, flight number “if arriving from/to airport” and active email address. Other preferences to be placed there.

Payments

Full payment is required at the time of booking. On receipt of full payment, We will process the booking and after confirmation will send to the booker by email.  transfer services details and confirmation letter will be generated for your reference. 

Amendments

Booking amendments can be made free of charge up to 24 hours before the use of the first service contained in any booking confirmed by us. Changes made less than 24 hours prior to the use by you of the first service must be made directly by sending an email from the email address which you provided at the time of booking to reservations@retajcarrental.com , quoting your booking reference number, lead passenger name and the changes you require. Amendments may result in extra charges and you must pay these charges prior to any changes being made.

Amendments can be made changing to a different destination, extras, pick-up and drop-off hours in your booking prior to the service date by 24 hours.In general, and for most services, we do not charge for amendments or changes to your booking, although we reserve the right to do so in the event the amendment increases the price of you original booking.

Cancellation

A 48hours advance cancellation is required to avoid a 1-day no-show fee and to receive a refund of the deposit processed at the time of booking. If the reservation is cancelled within 48 hours of the booked vehicle/s, the deposit will be forfeited.

At our discretion and on selected routes you will be able to book the services by making a low initial deposit of 30% of the full amount, this initial low deposit bookings will only be available if you book 20 days minimum in advance of the date of use of the service. All deposit payments made are non-refundable once the booking has been confirmed. The outstanding balance will be automatically deducted 7 days before the service use date from the same credit/debit card you have used to pay the initial deposit, if the outstanding balance is deducted you will be liable for the full value of the booking and no refunds will be made in case of cancellation. If you cancel the booking 8 days prior the first service use date, the outstanding balance will not be deducted from your credit/debit card and the deposit will not be refunded. Bookings made with this rate can be amended and if you would like to make changes or add extras to your booking, you will be asked to pay additional associated charges when the amendments are applied.

Retaj company cannot be held responsible or liable for timeliness, accuracy or quality of the services due to incorrect information provided at the time you book the service. It is the Lead Party’s (or his agent) responsibility to check that all the details of the booking are correct prior to travel and inform Retaj company if there are any errors in advance.

Cancellations by us

In extraordinary cases, and if we were forced to make a significant change in the conditions of service, or to cancel the service, we will make the necessary efforts to find viable alternatives to any confirmed reservation that we must cancel. If we are finally forced to cancel your reservation, you will be refunded the full amount of the reservation and this refund will cover all obligations towards the customer arising from such cancellation.

Luggage

The vehicles used for private transfers have capacity for at least 1 medium suitcase per passenger seat which should not exceed 70cm x 50cm. At the time of booking you must inform us of the luggage to be transported. It is not necessary to declare smaller luggage items such as cameras, handbags or small backpacks. The passenger will be responsible for any costs incurred in case of needing additional vehicles for the transport of undeclared luggage.

Will you include in your luggage or personal objects, objects that contravene the legislation of the country in which the service is provided (firearms, etc.) or those that may be harmful to third parties, or objects of excessive size, weight, expiration or fragility. Unless you travel with a guide dog, animals are not allowed.

The transport of luggage and other personal items is at your own risk and Retaj company will not be liable for any damages or losses.

Tourist places entrance fees

We are responsible only for the transport cost while for the entrance fees to the tourists places like petra, Jerash etc.. should be paid by the tourists /passenger.

One-Way 

Please be careful of the One way transfer price.

Extras 

WI-FI in car service is applicable upon request with free of charge, what we need is to be informed that its needed.

Child Seat You are responsible for correctly providing all the information of the passengers at the time of booking and in case of traveling with children choose the necessary extras. In some cases, child seats extras are not free and must be paid by you at the time of booking.

Rules 

TOWING IS NOT PERMITTED WITH Retaj Car Rental VEHICLES.

You grant the company the right to refuse service to who, according to the driver’s criteria, is:
1. under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
2. those whose conduct may be considered dangerous to the vehicle, to third parties or to themselves.
Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the vehicles for consumption while driving. This prohibition also applies to narcotics.
Smoking or eating inside the vehicle is not allowed.

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS for rental cars

By booking on our website, you agree that the contract for the use of the service, and you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions as well as other information contained on the website.

By making a reservation you confirm that you have read these Terms and Conditions and that you have the legal capacity to accept them on your own behalf and on behalf of all passengers using the services.

The person making the booking (“the main renter”) is considered to have done so on behalf of all the passengers and he or she accepts these terms and conditions on behalf of any passenger.

 

Additional Drivers 

Additional drivers must meet same qualifications as the renter. Additional drivers must appear at the time of renting the car with the primary renter. There will be an additional charge of 5 JD per day for each additional authorized driver. Additional drivers must be 21 years of age or older.

 

Service and business hours

Age 

Main renter and additional drivers must be at least 21 years of age or older with a valid driver license and a major credit card for the security deposit/pre authorization amount. The name on the license and credit card must match.

 

Cancellation 

48hours advance cancellation is required to avoid a 1 day no-show fee. A 48 hours advance cancellation is required vehicles to receive refund of the deposit processed at the time of booking.

 

Deposit Rules

A minimum deposit of 350.00JOD is required for medium vehicles  And 700.00JOD for the luxury ***WE DON`T ACCEPT PREPAID CARDS, MONEY ORDERS OR GOVERNMENT CARDS*** A 48 hour advance cancellation is required to receive a refund of the deposit. If the reservation is cancelled within 48 hours of the booked pick up time, the deposit will be forfeited. Refund of your deposit, or any amounts owed to you, are posted by Retaj Company at the close of your contract when you return the vehicle. However, depending on your financial institution, it can take up to 14 days to process.

 

Drivers License 

All drivers must be at least 21 years or older with a valid driver license. Drivers below the age of 26 must use a major credit card bearing the same name as the name on the driver license. The driver license must be valid for the entire rental period.

 

Fuel 

Vehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel level as rented. If the fuel level at the time of return is lower than at the time of rental, we charge a refueling fee at the rate listed on your rental agreement.

One Way 

One way rentals will add 20 JOD to change the drop-off location.

 

Over Stay 

You must notify us by phone or email two days prior the vehicle return date to extend your rental period beyond the return date listed on your rental agreement.

 

Payment 

Major credit card, or Cash. (YOU MUST COMPLETE ALL CASH QUALIFICATIONS, A PROCESS WHICH TAKES A MINIMUM OF 48 HOURS.) A minimum deposit of 350.00 JOD is required for all rentals. **Renters aged 21-24yrs of age require a security deposit of 350.00JOD*** WE DONT ACCEPT PREPAID CARDS, MONEY ORDERS OR GOVERNMENT CARDS. A 700.00 JOD deposit will be processed on the credit card for all luxury vehicles at the time of the rental reservation. A 48 hour advance cancellation is required to receive a refund of the deposit. If the reservation is cancelled within 48 hours of the booked pick up time, the deposit will be forfeited. Refund of your deposit, or any amounts owed to you, are posted by Retaj Car Rental Company at the close of your contract when you return the vehicle. Extras 

Car Seat /Child seat requires extra 5 JOD per day.

WiFi in car service is applicable upon request with extra daily fees 5 JOD.

 

Pickup / Drop 

During our operation hours, we will pick you up at a set time from the address requested. If the address is more than 10 miles from our location, a pick up fee may be assessed.

 

Rules
